  1. Very clean style, Renna. I especially liked the teachers teaching teachers part - there's no room for territorialness or isolation - we have to be in this together. ONe idea i encountered the other day was white boards in the teacher's lounge with big markers - got an idea? pass it along to everyone on the board.

  2. I enjoyed looking over your blog and, like you, I am taking this class to renew my license. But, I haven't worked in a classroom for over 15 years. I knew that this was one course I definitely needed! I really am counting on other teachers to be willing to share ideas when I return and am glad that a lot of what I hear is that most teachers are more than happy to do so. I also am becoming more aware that some teachers are resistant to incorporating technology but am confident that will change.

Oh, and I really liked the image in your video where the boy was sitting on a ball! As a special ed teacher, do you think schools and teachers are becoming more open to such accommodations?

    1. Teachers I work with seem to be more and more open to these types of accommodations each year. It takes meeting that special student to understand that they truly need some of these tools to be successful.
